Schools in Wanaka

I was able to join the classes in local primary school (elementary school) and pre-school (kindergarten) for a few days.
I was very lucky to meet Sam and Jen who invited me in into their classroom.
They taught me a lot about kids.

Sam: What did you do over the weekend Bonnie? (Bonnie is a sweet little 4-year-old girl)
Bonnie: um, I..sit on my mommy's lap…and I was on the airplane...and toilet and..um..
Sam and I: ???
Sam laughed and told me
“It’s a big story”

meeting up with kids, thats exactly what you have to do to get to see how they see the world.

if your interseted in very young children's learning process, then you might find interesting chapter 3 of a book called: "The Tipping Point" by Malcolm Gladwell.
