Feria De Mataderos

マタデーロ市場

ブエノスアイレスの中心地からバスで一時間ほど行ったところで、毎週日曜日に開催されている市場。何度も他の旅人から勧められたので、気になって訪れてみた。
マタデーロという名前はマタドールに似ているなあと思っていたら、やはり近くに大きな畜殺所があった。

市場は１０分も歩けば一周できてしまう程度の大きさだったが、売られていたものの内容の濃さに驚かされた。ここの市場で売られているものは全てが手作り。道端では殺されたばかりの牛が炭火で焼かれ、手作りのアクセサリー、革細工、雑貨などが、信じられないような値段で売られていた。音楽ももちろん生演奏。おじさん、おばさんたちはそんな音楽につられ、昔の思い出を語り合うようにゆっくりと踊っていた。

もし道端で「幸せはどこですか？」と聞かれたら、思わずここを指差してしまいそうなほど、この市場は穏やかな雰囲気につつまれていた。

Feliz Navidad

Volunteering group "Life" has been hosting Chirstmas party for 3 years to the children who have no chance of receiving christmas gifts. All the foods and presents are donated from the sponsors and the actual works are carried out by the volunteers.

This year 2000 kids came to the party...

We started from 8 o'clock in the morning and ended at 8 o'clock at night. We gave out shoes, candies, hamburgers, icecreams, cakes, and presents to all the kids who were at the park.

When they recieved the presents, they looked so excited and happy.

I´ll never forget those faces.

Every friday, I play fútbol with my friends in my hostal.

Children in Buenos Aires

I have visited one of the facilities in the suburb of Buenos Aires where they help kids with their food, clothes and studying. I was quite nervous because I looked so different from the rest. But one of the kids sat right next to me and gave me a big smile.

It's always them that leads me.

La Boca

Durante el fin de semana, fui a La Boca.
Es una zona muy pequeña pero los colores del las paredes son hermosos.
