Friends from Maryland

Sachi's Friend from Maryland stopped by and so we went on a little  excursion around Kabuto, our seaside village.

 

Charly and his children. We had super fun time walking/chatting. He seemed to love the country side of Japan alot. And he knew very peculiar Japanese terms like "Dangomushi" or "Kurage" which was quite funny.

Charly's elder son.  We played soccer together at the old unused school near our house.

We went up to the Kabuto Shrine and reviewed the proper Japanese way of praying.

We walked along the quiet sea of Noto. They were busy looking at the jellyfish and blowfish and on.

 

After two or three hours, we were already like school friends.

Charly, please come over anytime. Mi casa es tu casa!!(my house is your house)

You reap what you sow

今年もみんなで頑張って田植えをしたので、苗の成長が楽しみだ。

 

自分たちで作ったお米は本当に美味しい。

10月が楽しみだ。

椎茸とタケノコのクリームチーズグラタン。

山葵菜を巻いた涙巻き弁当。

チキン定食。

焼きとわかめサラダ定食。

最近サチが体に優しいケーキ作りにはまっている。　ヘルシーバナナケーキ。
