I was in touch with an old friend from high school. Kohei Harada, works in Japanese trading company and lives in Sydney with his wife. He took me to a decent Japanese restaurant and talked about many things to update ourselves. It's good to see your old mate.

APEC week

Thousands of people gathered in Sydney on Sept 8 to protest and march against the war in Iraq, climate in-action, and the Asia Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) forum leaders meeting. There was a heavy police presence with many streets barricaded by Police buses and police lining the approved route to the center.
