Sydney

My last stop in Australia.
Very big "city" but not too big for a metropolitan.
I've found a free accomodation job in a hostel in Kings Cross, where all the cheap hostels gather. Good thing about working in the hostel is that you meet so many travellers from all over the world.

Children in Byron Bay

I was planning to stay here for just a week or so but I ended up staying here for a month!!

Two Pre-schools were intrested in my work and welcomed me in.
I want to thank Victoria and Libby who gave me the opportunity to meet with kids and allowed me to enter fully the class room atmosphere.

Brisbane

I had to say goodbye to Raph and Emma cause they were on their way to catch a plane in Sydney to go to Fiji. I hate goodbyes.

Fraser Island

On the way to Brisbane, we made a stopover at Harvey Bay and from Harvey Bay we went to Fraser Island, the World Heritage site.
Fraser Island is known for its remarkable complex ecosystem developed solely on sand.

It is said that all the sand from the east coast of Australia eventually ends up at Fraser Island, a gigantic sandbar measuring 120km by 15km, created by thousands of years of longshore drift. Seen from the coast, it appears too lush and green to be the world's biggest sand island.
